As you’ve all doubtlessly noticed, spring has arrived. It feels like overnight trees and shrubs have gone from bare and forlorn to leafing out, flowering, and beautiful. It’s also a great time to think about the “spring cleaning” of landscapes: pruning.
Spring pruning not only helps with the aesthetics of your landscape, it also helps your trees and shrubs better resist insect and disease pressure as it improves airflow, allows for better photosynthesis, and generally promotes healthier plant growth.
Our resident pruning expert, Jim has been pruning for 25 plus years and takes great pride in every job he does. His experience and expertise are in high demand. Many of our clients are repeat pruning customers who know they will get a great pruning at a fair price.
We offer full-service pruning with thorough clean-up and debris recycling as well as what we call “prune and drop” for those clients who want to save some money and don’t mind cleaning up the debris themselves.
Jim specializes in residential projects that predominantly involve hand pruning, using tools like loppers and hand shears. Although power hedge trimmers and pole trimmers have their uses, many plants do not respond well to being sheared. Numerous companies prioritize completing the job quickly, so they shear everything. While the results may appear satisfactory initially, it is detrimental to the plants' long-term health.
Jim will use the right tool for the job. Every time. We guarantee it! Click here for more information about our pruning services!
